Our Mission

House of Hope Prison Ministry in Mississippi is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) ministry whose sole purpose for existing is to be "A Good Samaritan" extending God's Love, Compassion, and Mercy by word and by deed to the incarcerated, the indigent inmates, and the newly released inmates and their families.

The goals of this prison ministry are to give direction and aid to these people in their transition period by providing resources to meet their physical and spiritual needs. To demonstrate the Love of God to these inmates and their families. To tell them that no matter how big their storm, Jesus can calm the wind and the waves.  To let them know that He can give them Peace. That is, to give them Hope.

Our vision for the future of this ministry includes a group of 300 men and women committed to daily lifting up the HOHPM in prayer. The HOHPM's Band of 300 Prayer Warriors will have the same faith and dedication as did Gideon's band of 300 warriors.

About Us:

This ministry was conceived by God in the heart of an inmate in May of 2006; that which took root in the inmate's heart has now become a reality.

We are dedicated to lift up the Lord Jesus Christ and His Word to show that salvation in Him does give peace, provision, and power to those that trust and obey Him.

The House of Hope Prison Ministry is a non-profit organization sanctioned by the House of Faith Church. It is made up of Christian men and women of all walks of life, of various races and cultures, with diverse occupations. These people are being constrained by the Love of God to reach out to the individuals and families that have been touched by the prison system and to the individual persons who have served prison time but are now released; to show them the Love of God by word and by deed.

However, this organization depends not only upon its present members, but the support of local Christian churches, Christian individuals, and other Christian organizations. The Root of the organization is God, the trunk is the House of Hope Prison Ministry, but the branches where the fruit is to be formed and borne are the individuals and organizations that take part in this ministry.

The people that God has appointed and prepared to carry out His purpose in this ministry are made willing in the day of His power, in the day of opportunity. We know that the day of opportunity is NOW.

God will supply the need through the children of God that have been called to do these things. If God places this ministry on you heart and calls you to serve in this capacity, please "Contact Us" and you will be welcomed aboard.

"And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethern, ye have done it unto me." (Matthew 25:40)
